This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on https://www.sonidenakhre.in, and how much is refunded for an accepted cancellation.
Before Dispatch
You may request to cancel your order before it has been dispatched (handed over to the courier). Orders are normally dispatched within 3–4 business days of confirmation, so please contact us as early as possible.
After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is generally not available through our standard cancellation process, except where required by applicable law or where Soni De Nakhre expressly agrees otherwise.
This does not affect your rights if the product you receive is damaged, defective, wrong, missing or materially different from its description — see our Return & Refund Policy.
Cancellation Request Window
A cancellation request must be made within 3 days of the date you placed the order, and in any case before the order is dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched, the "After Dispatch" section above applies even if you are still within this window.
How Much Is Refunded (60% Rule)
For a cancellation request that you make and we accept under this policy, we refund 60% of the price you actually paid for the products — after any discount or coupon, including applicable taxes — excluding shipping charges. The remaining 40% is retained as a cancellation charge.
- Discounts and coupons: the percentage is calculated on the amount you actually paid after any discount or coupon — never on the original, undiscounted price.
- Taxes: applicable taxes included in the price you paid are part of the amount the percentage applies to.
- Shipping charges: Shipping charges are not included in a cancellation refund.
- Payment processing charges: we do not deduct payment gateway or processing charges from your refund beyond the cancellation charge described above.
Example: products priced ₹1,000, a ₹100 coupon and ₹79 shipping — you paid ₹979. 60% of ₹900 (the products after the coupon) = ₹540 refunded.
This cancellation charge applies only to cancellations you request for your own reasons. It does not apply if:
- we cancel your order (for example, because an item is unavailable or your address can't be served) — you receive a full refund of the amount paid;
- your order is not dispatched within a reasonable time after the processing period and you choose to cancel — you receive a full refund; or
- applicable law entitles you to a larger refund.
Refund Processing
Once a cancellation is accepted, we will initiate the refund within 15 business days, to the original payment method.
After we initiate a refund, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer or payment provider, and is outside our control.
Exceptions Required by Law
These rules explain our standard practice. Where applicable law gives you a right to cancel, or to a larger refund, in your circumstances, that right applies. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived under applicable law.

- Include your order number and the reason for cancellation.
- We will confirm whether the order has been dispatched and whether the cancellation is accepted, and tell you the refund amount.
